The 2021 Aglianico del Vulture Synthesi punches well above its weight with a classic bouquet of musky currants, sagebrush, crushed ashen stones and lifting hints of pine. Ripe wild berry fruits sweep across the palate with crisp mineral tones and violet inner florals, while zesty acidity maintains fantastic balance. Long and gently tannic, the 2021 leaves a staining of tart raspberry. This represents great value and should age beautifully for many years to come. Drinking window: 2028-2046.
