Glenelly's Glass Collection Merlot uses grapes from a cooler slope on the Simonsberg and is a very serious wine at its affordable price. Grippy, balanced and nicely structured, it has layers of fennel, damson and red cherry, a hint of green herbs and stylish 10% new wood. Drink date: 2025-2030.
