Chenin Blanc (a.k.a. Steen) has been produced in South Africa since the 1600s and saw no oak until Mulderbosch began experimenting with oaked Chenin in 1996. "Steen op hout" is Afrikaans for "Chenin on wood" and is a nod to this pioneering approach to South Africa's signature white. This 2025 is fresh and lively, with pear, apricot, pineapple, spice and flint. Drink through 2030+.
