Barcelo and Co. was founded in 1930 by Spain's Julian Barcelo, who arrived in the Dominican Republic with the sole purpose of producing rum. Barcelo Blanco is aged in American oak barrels, then filtered to ensure its clear colour. It's soft and smooth, with notes of unripe bananas and citrus along with a dash of spice.
